FAQ
Are my files uploaded?
No. Your PDF is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to our server.
Do scanned and text PDFs compress differently?
Image-heavy scans often shrink more. Text-based PDFs may shrink very little. Existing selectable text is retained in supported PDFs.
Can I compress a password-protected PDF?
No. Unlock it with the correct password before using this tool. Digitally signed PDFs are also left unchanged, because compressing them would break the signature.
What is the file size limit?
100 MB per PDF. Large files may take longer or need more device memory.
Which compression level should I choose?
Start with Recommended. Choose Extreme for a smaller file with more image quality loss, or Less when image clarity matters most.
